1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using getchargen.com ("Service"), operated by Nextfield Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

getchargen.com is an AI-powered character generation tool that creates character portraits, backstories, personality profiles, and stat sheets based on user-provided text descriptions.

3. User Accounts & Plans

  • Free Tier: 3 generations per day, no account required. Images include a watermark.
  • Pro ($9/mo or $79/yr): 200 generations/month, all templates, Flux model, no watermarks, priority queue.
  • Lifetime ($199 one-time): All Pro features with 500 generations/month. Limited to first 200 users.

4. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the text and imagery generated through the Service. Pro and Lifetime users receive a commercial license for all generated content. Free tier content is licensed for personal use only.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Generate content that infringes on copyrighted characters (the Service includes soft-block detection for known IP)
  • Generate NSFW, harmful, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI models or circumvent usage limits
  • Use automated tools to bulk-generate content beyond your plan limits
  • Resell access to the Service without authorization

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All content is generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, biases, or unexpected results. The Service does not guarantee factual accuracy of generated backstories, stats, or personality traits. Generated portraits are synthetic and do not represent real individuals.

7. Payment & Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after 14 days. Refund requests within 14 days can be sent to hello@getchargen.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nextfield Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Service.
